My hair: Pre-treated with bleach and level 8 copper. Advantages: - Save time! I have fine hair but lots of it. So applying color to my dry hair always feels like an all-day routine to me. Needless to say, departure is down the drain. - Easy to use. - Excellent coverage of my previously treated and gray hair. It's not as bright at my roots, but that's to be expected. I think it will get lighter after a few uses. Pure! My hair looks clean like I used my regular shampoo and conditioner. I don't usually trust 2 in 1 shampoos and conditioners so I was REALLY skeptical about how my hair would feel afterwards but it feels great. hadn't cleaned my shower yet, just seemed to come off a little with soap and water). Although anyone who paints houses trendy colors knows that this is only part of the process. It's hard to tell if you got general coverage. The second time I parted my hair to make sure I got it right as I kinda missed a whole strand the first time. Notes: - Coloring: I had no problems with coloring. After applying the product to my hair, my hands were red, but after washing my body and doing all my other activities in the shower, it was all washed out. There are some marks around my cuticles, but so minor that only my manicurist would actually notice (my manicurist is me). - Coverage: As I said, it covers well, but you can see that the ends of my hair are damaged, making the product look dull at the ends (the cut will take care of that). This is not directly related to the product itself, just so you know. Conclusion: I will use this product again. I'll see it cover my raw roots as my hair grows out. It could just become my color system. If not, then at least my general overhaul!
