New Balance changed the legendary 574 shoe, and not for the better. The biggest change is the removal of the padded tongue and the replacement of an unlined tongue that now digs into the top of the foot. Destroying a product that has been in production for years is not the best way to do business. New Balance should be ashamed. I'm sending the shoes back. Unfortunately I can't give 0 stars.
