I purchased parts at a premium but was in dire need of replacement joysticks. The silicone on my OG sticks was damaged and ripped off by the sticks I put on them. DO NOT save SILICONE, but PLASTIC. They have ZERO DOF and if you're just relying on those joysticks and not using the thumbsticks on them, they're awful to try to move and use. Don't buy them if you need silicone replacements.
