I know QC is generally terrible for monitors in this price range and buying a refurbished unit is a big gamble, but there was no problem with the unit I received; Lack of backlight, broken/stuck pixels, scuffs and scratches. The box was a little wrinkled and G-Overstock uses UPS shipping with mandatory signature. The only caveat I have is that the HDR600 certification is basically marketing nonsense. I haven't tried overclocking to 180Hz yet.
