Great socks! My son, husband and I have been riding them for two seasons now. I bought another pair of foreign socks that were itchy and returned them to buy another pair of these. I don't see any problems that avid skiers have to worry about. They sit well above the shin, just below the knee, don't fall off and the foot area stays in place even with compressed ski boots! In terms of warmth, they suit us perfectly, but we used them for spring skiing, so we can't say anything about their use in very cold conditions. Just use the size chart and you're done.
