Mine is defective, the right hook is bent and the 'ball' is missing. I'm keeping it anyway because I don't want to send everything back. Otherwise assembly would be fairly easy. Except for the shelf. A few pilot holes would be nice. If you don't have pilot holes either, simply place the shelf where you want it, mark with a pencil or similar where the screw hole is, then drill your own pilot holes. Be sure to attach the shelf to the wall, otherwise it will be a bit wobbly. It holds 9 pairs of boots/shoes which I need it for.
