So far this fan works great in my 2001 Jeep Wrangler. The old fan worked fine but drew too much current and melted the governor, governor resistors and associated connectors and wires! Hope this solves other problems I had. The fan came up with no problems. One thing to watch out for, which I think has been mentioned elsewhere, is to make sure the connector is plugged in properly. You can easily reconnect it. It works when plugged back in, but it just makes a lot of noise and doesn't blow much if there's any air at all. If you plug it in and there's no airflow but the fan is running, it's most likely plugged in the other way around. This isn't so much the fault of that fan as it is a Jeep factory design issue. It doesn't matter much, just make sure you plug it in the same way you unplugged the old one.
