Protects your feet but doesn't last long

Bought these for my last ride down the river. For the price, it was enough to keep my legs from getting crushed by river rocks, but that's about it. I wear a 6-6.5 in regular shoes and sandals so I got these in a 6. They were a bit big and often slipped off my feet when I was swimming. There is a strap in the back but after a few minutes it started slipping off so I had to tie a rope at the end to keep it from slipping off again. The insoles came off before I even got in the water. I had a really hot day and don't actually have very sweaty feet, but did have some sweat that caused the insole to separate from the rest of the shoe. It was some kind of low quality glue that I had to feel on my feet when wearing it. The insole also fell off at the front making it uncomfortable. I know I shouldn't have expected much for the price, but they started falling apart within 30 minutes of wearing them. However, the bottoms managed to keep my feet from getting cut off the rocks, so I did what I had to do, but I don't think I'll be using much of it in the future.
