A wonderful "toy " with little educational value.

I have been a first grade teacher for 25 years. I bought Plugo for my granddaughter in first grade. We enjoyed 2 days. I have to say that the graphics are charming and interesting. They pique a child's interest and are not bad for an adult guide. But the educational experience leaves a lot to be desired. The math game spends a lot of time on the numerical set sense. It's good. But what the voice asks and what is on the screen are not the same. One uses the dictionary "greater than", "larger" or "greater than" while the other uses a different dictionary. A child could learn to read when language and writing correspond. In addition, the ability changes dramatically from quantity to complex tasks to addition. 27+12 before the child has learned the numerical values (tens and ones)? no The zero term is also almost entirely omitted. These are the main problems of the program. reading is worse. A really good program must not be written in capital letters. Plugo has it. This weakness can be overcome by presenting words that match phonetically. Plugo does not present words in a preferred order. Short words with short vowels should come first. Then words of phonetic complexity. Plugo's First Word (Try to explain or say this combination! You have great game ideas, Plugo. Hire a grades K-3 teacher to help you create meaningful educational experiences for children.
