I was looking for a protein powder to replace the Pure Life Balance Egg White Protein Powder that I had bought locally but was disappearing from the shelves at local retailer Joe. This product is very similar; Just protein and nothing else. This powder has a yellower appearance than Life Balance Pure Egg White Powder, which is whiter in color but otherwise seems almost the same in terms of ingredients (just one thing: protein for both) and protein profile: 11 grams per two tablespoon serving for Life Balance powder and 13 grams per two tablespoon serving for this powder. I use it in shakes with soy ice cream, soy milk and a handful of blueberries and I taste no egg or lime residue at all. I have a fairly sensitive stomach and have not experienced any discomfort from it so far and have been using it daily for several weeks. One pack seems to last 3-4 weeks of daily smoothie use, depending on serving size. It's a little more expensive per serving than Life Balance Egg White Powder, but overall it's a decent price.
