Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I bought in March 2022 the maximum version of 512SSD / 8 operational with a student discount for 68k + Apple Protect Care for 3 years for 8k. Long thought to take or not, went to choose. I watched Sony and Acer with Asus, sometimes I donโ€™t like the screen, sometimes the keyboard is uncomfortable, sometimes the case is plastic and bends. As a result, I decided and considered that if you use such characteristics as this computer, you will get the same price, even more. In half of the laptops, the maximum SSD is 256GB, but this is not enough for me, I wanted to take it for 512. Well, I wanted something new. This is my first Mac, I bought it after I got an iPad. I was very embarrassed by this operating system, and it turned out in vain. Insanely convenient and functional, I got used to it in 2 weeks, now it's hard to work on Windows. Now Yosemite has been ated - in general, beauty. Love the new IOS 8 style design. It works great with iPad - everything is synchronized wirelessly, passwords, contacts, bookmarks, books (stopping point). Android doesn't have that, unfortunately. I am an ordinary user, I work only in office programs, occasionally with photography. I don't play games. Basically, I watch movies, browser, mail on the computer. All. Therefore, it was not difficult for me to switch, because I did not even use hotkeys. And then I started using it, I got used to it, and now, working on Windows, I constantly press them, of course, nothing works and it wildly pisses me off. It sounds stupid, 75k for movies and videos is bold, I agree. But the screen is the most important thing that can be at all. It is so comfortable that you will use it for a day or two and will never be able to return to other screens. I recommend buying it, because it is a really convenient and functional computer with an excellent OS. And if you have an iPhone and iPad, you get pleasure from work. On November 27, 2022, the price tag was skyrocketed, I bought it for 70k, and now it costs 104k. Used to be a regular Mac user, became a premium Mac user. Look for cheaper and you will be happy :)

Pros
  • - Design. The case is metal - not easily soiled, light, thin. - Weight, dimensions - The battery at a brightness of 80% and an average load keeps around 6 hours. More than that, but that's enough for me. - Backlit keyboard - Touchpad, I don't use a mouse at all. Such a touchpad should be in every laptop. From Windows, the Asus Zenbook does something similar, but still far from the MacBook. - Screen. He is divine. I only bought a Mac because of him, because I used the iPad for half a year and got very used to its resolution and picture quality. And only the MacBook Pro gives the same picture. Sony, Zenbook still grainy and blue. I wanted to take Air cheaper at first, but the screen became a decisive factor. - In general, the system does not slow down. I love just opening and closing the lid. No shutdowns and no waiting. Closed and removed. I also like that it turns on quickly. With the ated Yosemite somewhere around 15-20 seconds and the computer is ready to go. - No noise. When I read reviews on the market, I saw that a lot of people spoke positively about the absence of noise. That the computer is quiet and it's so convenient. Having been using Windows since 1999, I never thought about noise on laptops, let alone desktops. And then I noticed and quickly got used to it, and now when I sit at noisy computers, everything is wildly annoying. - No need to configure anything, no registry cleanups, reinstallation of Windows and other garbage. It used to be interesting, but now I just want to use the device and not think about how and when to clean it. - I was lucky, I have a Samsung SSD, the write and read speed is about 700mb / s. - Just as lucky - mine has never been electrocuted. In many reviews I saw that people were hit by static. It didn't happen to me. - The presence of a large number of cool accessories, such as cases and bags, the same Hard Graft.
Cons
  • - Doesn't read half of flash drives. - Does not record 80% of flash drives and hard drives - Does not see Android (laughed, of course, but could not connect Note 3) - After 150 recharge cycles, battery capacity has decreased by 2%. In fact, it drains faster than it looks. - All the time there is a possibility that without dancing with a tambourine he will either not read something, or will not open it. - Sometimes it does not connect to charging. You need to stick it in and out a few times for it to start charging. - Organization of work with folders in the system. More than six months have already passed, but I still canโ€™t get used to these copying, dragging and dropping. In Windows, in this regard, everything is much more convenient and easier to organize. - Anyway, if you run enough programs (more than 6) - it will be buggy. And the longer I use it, the more buggy it gets. People who say Mac never crashes are lying. Also, some programs hang, you have to kill them through the task manager. iTunes, by the way, is the most buggy program. Have to be cleaned periodically. - Annoying photo viewer. It starts as a boiler application every time, for a long time. Windows is a thousand times more convenient. But at the same time, I like to "slightly open" almost any files with a space. - The price tag at the end of November 2022 rose to the skies on them. 104k for a computer is too much.
