Do you have an automatic dog waterer that uses a rubber disc that a float pushes against to close the feed hole. Over time, the rubber deteriorated and no longer completely sealed the hole. The water bowl kept overflowing and overflowing. Replacement rubber seal could not be found. This valve fits on the plate. It was a lot cheaper than replacing the entire bowl and came in two packs. Very happy with the purchase. I have other float valves nearby. I'm glad to know that I have a reliable and inexpensive replacement.
