Review on ⛸️ Ampersand R Sports Figure BladeGards Skate Guard by Peter Nobles

The cheapest pair of skate shields for a few cents is light pink. But this color is no longer acceptable for my middle school age daughter. So I bought the next cheapest colors and got a pair in mint and another in neon pink. My daughter first talked me into buying a more expensive pair (change color mom!) and less than 4 months later they were gone from her skate bag which we discovered when she had to carry them to a competition. Thank goodness there were soft skate covers in a pinch! We've been searching the rink for the missing couple for a week and haven't found them (I draw the initials on the guards with a marker as many of them look alike). So now we have a pair and a backup. They're definitely harder to put on than pricier pairs, but once you get the hang of it (putting on, starting from the back, sliding forward while maintaining pressure to keep them on the blade) it's not so bad. I was able to purchase two pairs of face shields for less than we paid for 1 pair of others. I'm sure the first pair we use will be gone soon.
