I bought these for my grandchildren to play with when they visit. They are well made, work great and the kids love them! The rounded edges are safe and easy to hold, even for children. The included straps are a very nice plus because they like to wear them around their necks. Range is good and we haven't had any issues with interference. Although the seller's ad says they are suitable for ages 3 and up, my granddaughter, who just turned 3, found it a bit difficult to press and hold the "talk" button while she spoke (it are many buttons and keep them pressed). wrong if you try to speak, change the channel instead or press the volume button). Still, she had a lot of fun, and now she's saying "hello" to her grandmother :-) At first I was a bit disappointed to find that they take 3 AAA batteries (not included) - they don't usually last very long on a charge . However, the battery saver feature on these walkie-talkies seems to do a good job of extending battery life - I haven't noticed any battery degradation after a few days of use. I also appreciate that they come with a mini screwdriver needed to open the battery compartment. Don't lose it - the screws are tiny and a regular screwdriver won't fit.
