Better size than the original remote control
I have a Philips 55pfl5604/f7 which comes with a much larger remote control with number pad. Shortly after I bought the TV, my parents' visiting dog thought it looked like a great toy and chewed it in half. I used a cheap universal remote that never had the same functionality. I ordered this unit as a replacement and am very happy with the result. It fits better in the hand than the original remote control and retains all functions except for the numeric keypad. Be sure to keep it out of the reach of dogs.
