Review on BLACKRAPID Double Breathe Slim Camera Harness: Innovative and Trusted Strap Design by David Monaco

If you are slim and need a double camera mount, the BlackRapid Breathe Double Slim Camera Harness is probably the best and most comfortable on the market. The components are not cheap plastic; Carabiners have a safety latch that prevents accidental release; and the harness does not have a solid back that will get too hot for you if you wear it for a long time. Unfortunately, this beautiful crockery did not fulfill my purpose. I'm slim and short (5'1") and have partial paralysis in my left arm. I wanted to use a harness to hang the camera in the middle and apply equal pressure to the nerves in both shoulders. (I tried the BlackRapid sling and found that after just 5 minutes the nerve compression became extremely uncomfortable. If I could use it I would buy this model as it would be very comfortable and well made for most) by removing one part of the screw from the carabiner and by threading this part through the rings on my camera I was able to get the camera to hang in the middle of my body. But since I'm small and wanted my camera at hip height, I had to shorten the straps. I was only able to raise the camera to chest height, not to eye level as desired. When I lengthened the straps to raise the camera to the correct height, the camera hung just below the crotch - uncomfortable for hiking. After several hours of trying to fix the problem, I decided there was no workaround and had to return the belt. If you don't have any unusual neurological issues with your arms and want to use a quality dual camera strap, I recommend this product or the regular version - if you're not that skinny. Additionally, BlackRapid's customer service is exceptional. My question - a pre-purchase - was answered almost immediately.
