For the past few years I've endured a rust-like ring around the surface of the water. I would be embarrassed if guests thought my toilet wasn't clean if it was just a stubborn stubborn stain. I'd had enough, so I researched and took a chance. Even after 15 seconds of use I was skeptical. But sure enough, in another 10 seconds I was ready to do all the toilets in my house at 10pm. And I did, and after 20 minutes I was very happy to have done all 4 toilets. The wand disintegrates with use, making noise and sounding like rubbing a rough stone on porcelain. Your toilet will be filled with leftovers and will look like you poured black sand in it. But I did, scrub it again thoroughly with your regular toilet cleaner, rinse again and it's white! With 4 toilets I can use 2-2.5 sticks before it gets too short for me. I wear gloves for obvious reasons but also because the stick is very rough. At this price, don't be afraid to try it. I'm so glad I did.
