They are very comfortable but I usually wear a 2 or 3X but thought 4X would be right but they're too big and too long. I'm 5'1" and weigh about 250. I haven't worn them at all and bought in June, kept putting off sending them back or getting them hemmed. Went to alteration place yesterday and the lady said they weren't dragging the ground so she would not recommend hemming them. They cover my shoes and didn't notice how baggy they were in the back of the legs. I knew they were wide legs but didn't know they looked that baggy in the back. I don't have a full length mirror at home so at the alteration shop I saw how bad they look on little dumpy me.
