NTI Echo software issues for SP devices

I am a huge fan of SP products first and foremost - in fact I have purchased all of their products for various hardware applications for a long 2+ years. However . Despite the phenomenal price and very reliable physical devices, SP constantly relies on third-party software to install (clone) its SSD and M.2 hardware, which is VERY, VERY buggy, making it very unhappy as it ruins the overall experience ruined. The NTI Echo software in particular is buggy, poorly designed software which resulted in me wasting 2 days installing this otherwise great hardware into a brand new Dell 5575. The acquisition process of the NTI Echo software is insanely complicated and the SP is very poorly explained how you need to prepare to get it. Step 1. YOU MUST have the actual serial number of the device (not the box) to even attempt to download the software - you won't know until you've installed the device and closed the laptop - so you need to open that now Laptop again, take out the M.2 and take a picture. or write down a specific serial number that also has too many '0's and 'O's and you have to try and fail a few times. Step 2. Once you've finally signed up and downloaded the software, the next step is easy. Screen with 2 drop down menus BUT IT IS NOT! - Cloning 2 hard drives already in the laptop is no problem at all and is done in record time. - However, when cloning hard drives with the USB option, the NTI Echo software will result in a reboot and an infinite loop no matter what you do until you remove and erase the drive and essentially start over, or you make it, obscure Finding help from other users through endless online searches advising you to enter laptop recovery mode and then trying to fix your Windows Boot Record to get rid of the annoying NTI Echo instructions that are now in memory to load - it literally took 2 days of various trial and error and endless search for obscure instructions from another desperate and evil user who was a Good Samaritan to leave instructions behind this mess. Worst of all, the Win10 installation actually got corrupted and caused a full clean reinstall that also caused a full reinstall of the app, so cloning was a huge BUMP! Ultimately, I recommend SP hardware but use other reliable and proven software for cloning.
