Cloth books are good. The book is very big for a small child. At 6 months old, a 22lb 28 inch baby raises his arms, waves his arms and loves pictures. However, the sound elements do not work. It's not a cheap thing, things that should make noise should make noise. A duck and a cat to be exact. URGENT Warning: There are dot markers on two sides to indicate the Foley Makers that are below the dots. The dot labels are textured and appear to be appropriate BUT they aren't! They will chip off at the edges if a child holds a book in their hands for a while. THEY ARE DANGEROUS! They are the size of a nickel. You could easily choke the child and it would be difficult to tell what happened. Before it's too late With no fear of choking, I'd rate it a lot higher. Even higher when the noisemakers worked.
