I haven't had coffee for a long time. However, I have a single mom with a little munchkin that I have to chase after in the morning and decided to get a disposable coffee maker to have a morning cup to cheer me up. This little coffee maker seems to have its pros and cons. Pros: It's compact, brews fast, incredibly affordable, has easy-to-see level markings for three different ounces in the water compartment, and fits many different coffee makers. regular coffee mug sizes and a wide base so you are not limited to using a travel mug and can even use ceramic mugs with a wide base. Cons: The cord is not very long if the coffee grounds are stuck to the top of the steamer/heater, the filter itself is not dishwasher safe according to the instructions and needs to be hand cleaned, the instructions say to use four tablespoons of regular ground coffee should , but the filter itself has the maximum line, which is reached after two tablespoons, the mug does not keep the coffee warm for long and was barely warm after an hour, as the mug is metal you can not put it in the microwave for Warming up the coffee, even after waiting 3 minutes, when I opened the coffee machine, hot steam shot at me, the cup doesn't look like it would last long and I've already ordered a replacement, the coffee almost tasted burnt, as if the water would have been overheated and badly singed (although I've only had hot coffee a few times in the last few years, so my tastes are adjusting (might bud on the taste of hot coffee again) **Note Note: I have read many reviews complaining about water collecting in the bottom of the coffee maker's cup holder after a few days to a week of use. Here is the solution that worked for me. Clean your coffee maker. Take a towel or rag and wipe down the part of the coffee maker that is just above the cup. Condensation collects on the underside between the cup and the coffee machine. If you don't wipe it, it dries. However, as you use the coffee maker again, it will continue to build up, as windows do. This usually results in a small puddle of cold water, which you find after brewing a cup of coffee and not wiping down the bottom of the coffee maker for days. I hope this is helpful.
