Review on πŸ“Ί Universal TV Stand/Base Tabletop TV Stand with Swivel Mount for 32 to 65 inch Flat Screen TV - Height Adjustable, Tempered Glass Base by Aaron Ward

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Heavy and easy to turn, but not low enough to match my TV. YMMV

I am using this with a TCL 55' 6 Series TV. The VERSA 200x200 is positioned in such a way that the brackets on the TV remain fairly low even in the highest position. I bypassed the top holes in the fasteners and used an extended channel and got the fastener as high as possible so the finished product was as low on the table as possible. Even he had the bottom of the TV about 6-7 inches away from my desk. So I removed the screws from the post and dropped it as low as possible before it hits the hinge that forms the hinge. With all these modifications, the TV fell off the tabletop by about 4-5 inches. Pros: - The base is quite heavy and I can't imagine how the TV could tip over - Spins very smoothly and easily. Much better than I expected. Cons: The screws that attach the rack to the hinge don't secure it tightly. I might be doing something wrong, but I don't think so. That means the hinge can wobble a bit, which means the TV can fail. If I didn't do anything wrong, it's a design flaw. The building instructions are terrible and mostly leave it up to you. Do you remember when you first assembled an Ikea dresser? Overall I recommend it because it spins great and doesn't tip over. But I really wish the height adjustment would allow my TV to be closer to the table.

Pros
  • TV Accessory
Cons
  • Some bugs
