Review on 🔌 KNACRO 36Pin PCI-E 1x Riser Card PCI-E Extension Cable - Ideal for 1U and 2U Servers by Justin Albright

I bought this to move a video capture card because my new GeForce GTX 660 was double wide and needed to cover the only PCIe 1x slot on my motherboard. The connector on this cable rises half an inch above the socket, about an inch from the motherboard itself. The graphics card doesn't even come close to its slot, even under heavy pressure. I'm sure it will work for some use cases, but not for me.
