I've tried 2, 3 and 4 blade razors, ladies' and gents', scented and delicate. I gave up 4 blades a while back because I kept getting bitten trying to move around my ankles and knees and it was never worth it. Razors with soap on the blades wore out quickly and again weren't worth the money. Most others had a foam or gel strip that tore easily and made shaving uncomfortable. I tried this razor because it was a heavily discounted subscription and saver option and I'm glad I tried it! I had to double check the head to make sure it didn't have a plastic cap or any kind of seal. It was so smooth I couldn't believe it was actually doing anything. It was! And it turned out a magnificent unreal smoothness of sliding. love love love
