I like this table as it offers a lot of desk space and the shelves are a very nice addition. It turned out that way too Designed so you can work from either side of the table. The only problem is that the table is 30" tall. Most standard chairs aren't tall enough for this table (unless you attach a keyboard stand). I don't like any Keyboard trays and prefer desktop keyboard/mouse, I had to tweak a few other things to get this to work for me. For reference, my height is 5ft 7". 1) A hard floor mat to keep my chair's wheels from getting in sinking in the rug, 2) a chair cushion to lift me high enough off the table so my elbows and wrists are at the right angle, 3) because I was taller in the chair, I needed a footrest order so that the legs are at a 90 degree angle again (I have sciatica). For the record, most budget drafting chairs are too tall even in the lowest position. I'm actually very comfortable with all my stuffed stuff now, and I'm sitting pretty ergonomically now. Seat cushion and footrest manufactured by ComfortLife. I hope this helps you.
