Seems to be a common problem with these thinner unnamed carpets. They are rolled very tightly and stored for a long time. This creates waves that prevent the mouse pad from lying flat. This detracts from the smooth, extended interface you'd hope to get when purchasing a product like this. On top of that, it's a small eyesore on the table. As with other mouse pads, it smells strongly of chemicals when unpacked. It's usually vented so I'll keep an eye on both wave condition and smell. All in all a prop with no logo on the front, quilted edges and mouse pad sized niche filling. This cushion isn't as plush as 5mm brands like Reflex Labs or Traverse, but still offers adequate comfort. Without the poor packaging/storage this would have been a 5 star product. My review will be updated after leaving it alone for 1-2 weeks. Update: The problem persists despite being hung, left in the opposite direction, etc. Cannot recommend this product. The ripples are still noticeable and cause intermittent mouse tracking issues.
