My rescue was 14 months old when he was new to our household so we started with a rather excited 55 lb puppy. He is very friendly and curious, but sometimes overly eager to play. "Mouth" is the word I would use when chewing on things not meant to be chewed, or when we want to gently bite (not bite) our arms, hands, and ears. After two or three uses of this collar, a beep (not even a vibration let alone a shock) is enough for unwanted behavior and that behavior is REALLY a thing of the past. The absolutely amazing response and performance honestly exceeded even my highest hopes, let alone my expectations. After three to four weeks of use for various things, he no longer needs to wear it at home - this only continues when we visit friends. The ONLY improvement I could suggest, and it's a small one, is that the operation of the remote's buttons isn't as easy to see when you're in a poorly lit area. There's only three of these, so it's no big deal - I've only used it once before sitting in the living room with the lights off, and I had to click around for a bit before figuring it out the second time.
