Painted over the threads!

The pieces didn’t thread together as they should. This causes the pieces to not match- as one piece would jut out further than the other on the wall. I had to arrange them on different walls because of this. I should have returned the product- but I’m just so exhausted with my bathroom remodel I decided to take the path of least resistance and just deal with the defect.
