Fits the 16" MacBook Pro snugly. I didn't do a spill test, but it looks like it keeps small drips, dust, or bits of food from getting on the keys. Its transparency allows light to shine through well.Adding a layer of protection dampens key clicks and dampens keystroke feedback to a noticeable level, but it's not enough to drastically slow down your typing speed.This is a trade-off between protection and speed that only the user can accept or not and which as well as the haptic feedback is a matter of personal preference. However the case is well made and does what it's supposed to. I wouldn't recommend it for office use where frequent keyboard use is required. For travel protection, however, can be a very cheap $7 insurance against accidental damage to a $2,500 laptop. The cover lays and hugs the keys without sagging; I didn't have to use the stickers that came with it. I hardly realize it's even there.
