This thermostat works for the 351 Cleveland!
This thermostat has the copper cap on the underside required for the STOCK 351c cooling system. This copper hat is needed to seal the brass throttle plate under the thermostat to keep your coolant from constantly bypassing the radiator. As far as I know there is no other engine that can use this thermostat other than Cleveland.
