I was hoping it would be a great fan and aesthetically it is too. The metallic rot smell of the engine, no matter how long it was worn out at 100%, was totally unacceptable and caused serious health problems. We didn't let family members into the room trying to stop the smell but it never happened so I removed it and replaced it with the old fan that was there. I didn't send it back because I couldn't receive it. Back to the box so I just suffered a >$100 loss from this attempt and will only buy brand name fans going forward which I've never had a problem with.
