Because the wring function sits so low on the mop handle, there's no way to sweep between the fridge and cabinets. The plastic part of the press is too wide and cannot be moved or removed. The mop head is also very small. My kitchen is large and a regular cotton mop with a 9 inch cotton head will cover a large area. This mop head is so small that it takes longer to cover too small an area with each stroke. Otherwise it does its job well and is very easy to wring out. The mop head is certainly small and soft enough to not even need a plastic wringer. Much easier to wring than with a cotton swab, even by hand.
