Our above ground pool cover fell off in the winter and left a disgusting swamp full of tadpoles in the spring. We drained the pool but left a few inches of dirty water. After reading the reviews about this pump I decided to try it considering the good price. It arrived, I connected the hose, connected and WOW! What a little power station! It sucked all the dirty mud out of the pool during the day, leaving the remnants of dead leaves which I easily scooped away. This is definitely at the top of my best buys list!
