The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

I have been using the smartphone for almost 4 months, I bought it under the Trade-In program, and bought it cheaper than the S8 + was sold at that time. Not so long ago I received a major ate to Android 9 Pie and, as promised, I am rewriting the previously left review. The ate itself brought stability to the operation of the smartphone, much began to work better, the smartphone became more responsive, the battery has not yet noticed significant changes, probably the duration of the work has increased, but not significantly and not in all usage scenarios. The smartphone pleases with its screen, as for me, there is no better yet. The sound from the speakers is very pleasing, although it is worth recognizing that in the iPhone Xs and XsMAX the sound from the speakers is even more saturated, but here it is no worse than it is just different. When headphones are connected, the sound is also excellent when using headphones for 12k and listening to FLAC, there are no complaints about the sound. The functionality is very pleasing, I also advise you to deal with BIXBY, in some scenarios it is a very useful thing, for example, you can use it to point the stylus at any text, it doesn’t matter if it’s a text or an inscription in a picture and extract the text from the picture and immediately translate it. Objects and pictures are also well recognized. But the button is annoying, it is superfluous. For its money, the smart is excellent and there are essentially no analogues to it, given the functionality that the stylus offers.
At the moment, this is an excellent flagship that has all the features you need for work, study or entertainment.
I would like that, as in the case of the Galaxy S8 +, engineers and developers have brought the device to mind. Whoever has the previous Note8 should think about it, I
It seems that there are not so many innovations in Note 9 to ate the device, who has S8 + or just S8 or the younger model, then, as for me, it is more appropriate.

Pros

- The screen, the most important advantage of this smartphone, is perfect color reproduction, excellent brightness, it is absolutely readable in the sun even under bright rays, and does not blind in the dark, it is possible to adjust the color correction for yourself. -Sound and speakers are also a huge plus. I am even more pleased that it is comfortable to listen to the sound from the speakers, it is clear, more saturated than in many other smartphones, it is especially nice if the content being played is of high quality, dolby tracks in films sound great. The sound in the headphones is good, and the delivered headset is also of good quality. -Memory, it is fast and large enough, and together with a memory card it is enough for everything. -Modem and antennas, Wi-Fi speed up to 250 megabits / s, in 4G + I met speeds up to 140 megabits / s for downloading and up to 90 for uploading. Catches the net confidently. -Camera, a good module is installed, which allows you to take pictures comparable to the quality of SLR cameras, at least I succeeded, examples of pictures below. With the latest ate, the camera was significantly finished, but again not completely. - The presence of the stylus and its accuracy. In general, the stylus has become more functional and more convenient than before. -Fast charging from 0 to 100% in 2h35m. -Good autonomy, the battery in a fairly intensive mode lasts for 24 hours, with automatic brightness and Always On Display turned off, if this function is enabled, you can lose up to 4 hours with similar use. -Fast and accurate biometric sensors. But you have to get used to them. -Fast RAM, sufficient capacity and powerful processor. -Waterproof.

Cons

Of the shortcomings, I can note the dimensions, they are not suitable for everyone, and the location of the fingerprint sensor is a bit high for some users, although I feel comfortable, because before that I used the Galaxy S8 + for almost 2 years and got used to the location of the sensor, and here I have no complaints. It is also disappointing that for almost half a year the manufacturer cannot finish the software, periodically there are some other glitches, before ating to Android 9, there were cyclic reboots when trying to make a payment with Samsung Pay, problems with fingerprint recognition, problems with the camera, or rather with the quality of shooting, terrible artifacts appeared in the photographs, which were clearly created by noise reduction, and even now there are complaints about the camera. At the moment, artifacts created by noise reduction periodically appear, the photo is simply covered with multi-colored spots, and sometimes the automation paints the noise instead of removing them. In Live Focus portrait mode, the picture quality is poorer than in normal mode. The AI-based enhancer (scene optimizer) works either well or just disgustingly, significantly worsening the result of the shooting. Noise reduction does not work periodically during video shooting. This is a software problem because in other programs such problems are not observed and the noise is uniform over the entire field of the frame, and some third-party programs evenly suppress both chromatic and color noise. But despite all the shortcomings, the camera takes some of the best pictures. Although, as for me, the pictures on S9 + and S9 are better, since there are no problems, and in general they work better for me. There are also problems in the operation of SmartView, sometimes the picture on the TV is transmitted incorrectly, but I think this will be corrected soon
