Made of durable yet flexible plastic, the Forerunner 245 was easy to put on. The looks of the device don't deteriorate, and if you don't know, look at it and you'd think he's always been there. Has been worth it for me. I'm a bit clumsy and sometimes when I'm carrying laundry, boxes or whatever, I can bang my wrist on a door frame or wall. I've already scratched the thing twice and it's holding up well. This definitely gives me confidence that the ForeRunner will last. My only concern is water getting between the lid and the ForeRunner. So far it's not a problem as I don't swim and I don't sweat much, but it gives me food for thought. Don't worry, the ForeRunner is waterproof.
