There are many reasons why I love this rug. He is beautiful and tall. It is comfortable on human and cat paws. It can be machine washed. I see flexibility as a plus. You can lift the edges and roll up the filler next to the tray. This way you can wait for the litter to be shaken back into the bowl so it doesn't spill further. And thanks to its flexibility, it is easier to fold and simply pour back into the bowl. The fold acts like a spout. Being so tall I can make a fold against the wall so dirt doesn't collect on the baseboard. It's not as thin as some reviewers make it out to be. It's thick enough to fit well. I really like it and recommend it.
