Needed a second computer in the apartment (typewriter, content, not for work). I thought not to overpay and take the base Air M2 8/256, but I wanted a small margin for storage and RAM (different reviews on the network). I found 16/256 and 16/512 from 120 thousand. As a result, a week ago it turned out to take for NM (the seller is also NM) for 130 thousand (with bonuses and bank design bureau) 14 pro M1 16/512. This is my first MAC and laptop in principle, I am very happy. Already used to the new system, after 20 years of dealing with Windows, Mac likes (+ Iphone 14PM phone). The buttons are English, but it turns out that I can type well without 2022, apparently my visual memory has worked over the years of gaming. Without running applications, 5.8 GB of RAM is occupied, a browser (about 10-15 tabs) + a couple of simple programs and already 9-10 GB of RAM, swap is always 0. I don’t know how 8/256 is enough, and even for working with photos / videos.
