Review on 🔧 Dremel A577 Detailer Grip: Enhancing Performance and Precision by Mike Modesto

I was very disappointed with this pen. The handle is made entirely of plastic including a thin ring that secures the handle to the Dremel tool (8220) which allows the handle to flex on the tool eliminating any possibility of good control with the handle itself. With the handle mounted on the tool, I could barely reach the tool with my index finger and thumb, which wasn't enough to give me good control of the tool. I was able to hold the tool better without the handle installed than with the handle installed. I bought it hoping it would give my arthritic hands some relief from having to hold the tool for long periods of time, but if anything the handle made matters worse. Maybe I would have succeeded if the part that attaches to the tool was metal that goes all the way to the handle rather than flexible plastic.
