The wooden rattle is polished smooth and varnished in natural colour. It has no varnish or paint on it. Inside is a very beautiful decorative golden bell. The bell has thin cutouts around the body. It's quite elegant on its own and big enough to appreciate. The bell makes a pleasant sound as it spins around the rattle. It can be shaken, thrown and hit. It's big but handy for little hands to hold between the planks of wood. The set also includes a wooden bite bar. The rod has two rounded ends. Also on the pole there are two wooden rings and a sea green silicone ring in the middle. All of them are smooth and natural materials. The color of the wood is natural. The celadon ring contrasts beautifully with the natural color of the wood. Even with the rings on the handlebars, there's enough room to hold it and shake it like a rattle or teeth on the ends.
