In summary, I thought the chair was a good value for its price, even though I didn't enjoy it for me BUT If the gas lift is loosened (see photo), the chair should be able to lean back freely; in my case, this is only feasible with the emphasis on the legs; nevertheless, if you entirely relax, the chair will go back to its starting position. As a direct result of the function not working, I will be issuing a return and placing an order for a new one or another.
