Review on Maxpow Compatible Cruiser Liftgate Supports by Robert Hunter

Bought these for my 1994 80 series. Cheaper alternative to OEM and works the same way. The trunk bars are very strong and actually open the tailgate about an inch higher than the OEM, which is nice when you're 6ft 2in tall. Initially, one of the tabs on the hood pillars was bent after installation, rendering it unusable. I called PartSam customer service to let them know. They asked for some photos and immediately sent a replacement (5 days between calling and replacement arriving). Hope this doesn't happen again but their service is really good.
