GREAT Convertible Top Cleaner - make sure you use a real horsehair brush

Given my brown convertible top on a 2007 model I didn't have high hopes for the 303 Automotive Trunk Lid and Top Cleaner. All I can say is WOW what a difference! First I did my research and you need to be careful HOW you clean your fabric convertible top. Conventional nylon brushes are too hard and can damage the fabric. Microfiber and towels leave lint that is not easy to remove. The only sure thing is to find a real quality horsehair brush (which isn't easy as most of them are cheaply made and leave fibers all over the roof). I finally settled on a German horsehair brush that I found here at Revain and the results have been good. I thoroughly wet the top, sprayed it with 303 cleaner and gently brushed it with a horsehair brush. Reapplication on several particularly contaminated areas. One small complaint - it did a lot of rinsing to remove the cleaner. I might have been too aggressive in the muddy areas, but over time it all washed away. The results were just stunning - I've posted pictures to show the difference. While the 303 can't work miracles, it has left me with an almost brand new, bright and evenly clean top with no marks or markings. I continued this with 303 Sealer.
