Description of Chemical Guys Acc_201_Brush_C Carpet Attachment

You can use it to clean carpet, upholstery, fabrics, door panels, trunk, wheels and so much more. The high speed rotation of your buffer, or random orbital buffer combined with high quality premium short hair bristles cleans and easily extracts spots from leather and fabric upholstery and carpet. These ultra-premium heavy duty brushes are available in two varieties to suit your cleaning needs. Short hair bristles are ideal for surfaces that are really dirty and need some strong scrubbing power. Hook-n-loop pads have super heavy duty Velcro for long lasting durability.

it cannot be removed like polishing foam

Attention, if you put this on a soft hook, you CANNOT take it off. Because the soft loop and this brush have a hard surface, they don't remove like buffing foam. Get ready to buy another soft hook

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • old

Great fabric/carpet dispenser

Great fabric/carpet dispenser. Works well. The adhesive between the velcro and the tool itself is a little weak, the tool separates before the velcro is loosened, you need to put a knife or screwdriver between the velcro and the tool to separate them without damage

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Car detailing glue failure

Like many others, I had to use it for 20 minutes before the glue holding the Velcro to the brush failed. I saw another reviewer here who said they tried it with a VHB tape that happened to be in my hand. I covered the entire surface with VHB and it didn't last any longer than the original. Then I'll try to use a heavy duty contact cement but I really don't think I need to deal with their problem.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not sure how these guys are selling this product

I bought this to attach to my Griot's orbital bumper so I can clean the non slip deck on my boat can. the first fell apart quickly and I bought another one, thinking it was an isolated case; Well it wasn't. The problem is that the glue they use to attach the velcro to the back softens when heated and falls apart. This is not the product you should be selling if you want your company name to be associated with quality products. Fix it or don't sell it.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I really don't like it everything is fine

Another Chinese plastic garbage.

The concept of this brush is great, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The "Velcro" used on the back is some kind of long fiber material, not a Velcro loop at all. I don't look like velcro and don't hold up like velcro. In fact, it doesn't even hold up strong enough to keep the brush from falling off just by gravity, much less than the stress of a buffer or random orbit sander. Useless PIC. Save $14 and just use a cleaning brush.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Only available in black

Works great on smooth fabrics, self destructs on carpets.

Bought this attachment to speed up interior decoration. It works great on smooth/low pile fabrics like velor that you find on seats. If you use it on a carpet, be careful. After about five minutes, the velcro pad detached from the brush head itself. It may be better suited to the DA's forced rotation than my porter cord. I can't say for sure. All I know is that dying so quickly was too expensive.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Compatibility

When using the scrubbing brushes in a damp environment (more precisely: shower cleaning foam), the Velcro fastener came loose from the plastic bristle base plate within the first 2-3 minutes of use. The Velcro pad must be attached with plastic staples or sewn onto a plastic baseplate for permanent correction. For now I just taped mine back on to continue using it as a shower scrubber on my cordless random orbit sander. I would not buy again until the manufacturer fixes the problem. Thank you…

Cons

Buy a brush instead of a drill

I usually put products first. I've been trying to get this to work. I read that the velcro was too strong so I bought a new backing plate so I never have to take this product off. On first use today the brush slipped off the base plate as I increased the buffing speed. I thought, okay, maybe it's not designed for higher speeds. I reattached it and continued at slower speeds. After a few minutes, the glue holding the brush together heated up and the brush detached from the Velcro - mid-work…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Either the velcro is too good or the glue holding it is not good enough.

Either the velcro is too good or the glue holding it is not good enough. I made the mistake of sticking it on my Griots DA, it's smaller than the Griots velcro but I can still use the brush and have it cleaned well. When I tried to remove the brush I had problems because it couldn't be pulled off the polisher because of the hard backing, I had to pry it up slowly and slide spacers underneath to free it. was half torn off, I was trying to pry it off the polisher and that's when the velcro came…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Great product for carpet and upholstery

I have used this brush to clean all of the upholstery seats in my Equinox. Before purchasing I used a small green machine and removed the seats with water a couple of times to try to get the stains out. After removing with water, the stains remained. I saw this product and read reviews from other customers and decided to give it a try. After receiving the brush, I used it with Chemical Guys CWS_103_16 Carpet & Upholstery Shampoo and Deodorizer (16oz). I couldn't believe how well this works…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competition has arrived
