Works great for brewing beer.
I use this bag to strain the wort before putting it in the fermenter. Others had recommended going to Home Depot and getting a paint strainer bag. If you do that smell the bag and you'll notice a nylon smell that you don't want to get into your brew. These are food grade bags and exactly what you want.
