After cataract surgery I have bought about five different readers and they are by far the best. After all that trying, I actually bought two pairs. The lenses are the thinnest and most transparent (meaning they don't "dark" what you see), and the spring-loaded temples maintain their strong and secure hold (on my head) for a month, giving me time to figure out where the heck I'm putting them have to carry me. breast pocket? Collar? back pocket? (In fact, I've been able to keep them on my head so far, and maybe I will for the next 30 years!)
