Took this scarf to an outdoor wedding. The day was quite warm but I knew the temperature would drop to 60 degrees when the sun went down. This scarf is lightweight but not flimsy. It has a good body and the fringes are well worked. Appearance is smooth and slightly shiny; The interior is just a little fluffy, which helps retain warmth. I did not experience any static electricity while wearing the scarf and it has been quite effective in keeping me warm on chilly evenings. I chose the color Excalibur, a dark gray with hints of purple - a very neutral (and pleasant) color. No, this scarf doesn't look or feel like cashmere, but the price doesn't look like cashmere either. This is a very beautiful, comfortable scarf and I am very happy with my purchase. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that although it is described as "oversized", the length would benefit from the extra 8 inches. . I'm of average build, 5'4" tall and barely long enough to wear the scarf so it doesn't fall off my shoulder. However, at my height, it's very good to throw it over both shoulders, like on the Photo to see so I'm still very happy with it.
