Yes, it was a bit like felt, but it did the job of keeping me warm on the plane. Sometimes I rolled it up for lumbar support on the plane, and sometimes I used it as a pillow. Also useful when the air conditioning is cold in summer. I liked the beige color - a bit more brown but it went with all my summer colors.

I love this scarf! It's warm, thick and so very soft - really well made. I bought it in lavender color and the color is beautiful. In addition, unlike some wool scarves, this lambswool scarf does not cause any annoying static electricity; a cheaper wool scarf I bought from Revain did the trick. This scarf, on the other hand, offers the comfort of cashmere and even more warmth.

Excellent quality for the price. My husband and I both thought it looked better than the White & Warren cashmere travel cape which was three times the price! Buttery soft and perfect weight (didn't think it would be too skinny - rather medium weight) and great length. I found the picture to be pretty much how it actually looks in person. Beige - nice light camel color, corresponds to the photo. If they wore this in Charcoal I would buy another. Hope it wears well and lasts a long time.

My husband and I attended this year's fall wedding in New York and it was a black tie wedding which of course means floor length prom dresses for women. You can't just wear a coat over a dress so I needed something for when it gets cold. I found this scarf a week before my wedding and it was just perfect. It was a neutral color so it looked great with my burgundy dress, just enough to cover my shoulders and chest perfectly and warm enough to move from place to place.

I use it to keep warm at work and still be professional. I work in an office. I don't know why it's always so cold in offices, but I do know that this scarf/cloak/shawl is great for keeping me warm to death, as well as being versatile yet stylish. Took this scarf to an outdoor wedding. The day was quite warm but I knew the temperature would drop to 60 degrees when the sun went down. This scarf is lightweight but not flimsy.
