I volunteer at a local hospice making sleeves for people with dementia. I bought these to use on these sleeves. When I received these buttons, I realized I had made a mistake. They are complete rubbish. There are "buttons" where the holes are not drilled through. More than half of them are unusable. They have chips or are only partially painted. save your money I understand that some items are not buttons, which is ok because I also make scrapbooks and I think I can use them for that. Most have to be thrown away.
