I got this for my son because he did not have any colored button downs. He liked the black colored one and that works well for casual and formal. I really liked how the white buttons contrast on it against the black. It looks like a shirt that cost some serious money. And sure enough it looked very attractive casual and he wore it with a tie yesterday to church and it looked real sharp. Especially with the black shoes he wore with it !He wears a size medium and so that's what I ordered. He is 5'4 and wear size 32 x 30 jeans. The sleeves were just a bit too long but that was no problem as this shirt looks better with the sleeves rolled up. There were no imperfections in the shirt. It is top shelf quality ! As far as the slimming effect goes it it did indeed add the effect. I would not say it's gonna pull of miracles by any means but it will help. I will add too, my son is not overweight nor is he skinny and this shirt did make him look thinner.So I have no complaints and really think this shirt stands out with quality and looks so attractive. This is definitely a five star shirt ! I hope this was helpful.
