Review on Renewed Audio-Technica ATH-M40x Headphones by Alex Hensen

My old ATH-35 headphones were finally starting to die in the right channel, so I quickly went in search of a suitable replacement. I only connected them so they wouldn't actually burn out. My pick list for replacements was ATH 20, 40 and 50, Sens, Sony, JVC and Philips. I was wanting to get the 50s since it was Christmas but I looked at some tube reviews and they said the 40X sounded better. I will say I have LOTS of mid-range headphones and they sound AWESOME. I only hooked them up for about 10 minutes but they are amazing. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. It's great and the renovation looks new. I'm shocked how much better they sound than my old ATH-M35s. I am very happy!
